seems pretty cool! can you name 2000 different bands? crazy that there are that many with shows (is that where the counter came from? bands with at least 1 show up?) here on the live music archive. Let's try and get that number of bands up to 3000, now that we have the server backend / frontend to handle it now!

Cool, that means I'm responsible for 1/2 of 1% of the bands here (IIRC I've gotten 10 bands activated here). And I'm still working on the rest of the ones on my list.

It's all OK'd bands, even ones with 0 shows up so far. BTW I don't know a search string yet for just bands with 0 shows, if anyone has ideas (to see where the gaps in the colleciton are).

this would be a combination of two searches (dump results into an array or something) and compare the two lists

1; search for all bands in the archive
2; search for all occurances of bands with at least one show

then see which ones are in list 1 and not in list 2
(if entry list 1 does not exist in list 2 put entry in list 3)

not sure what database program you are using or how your information is stored and sorted, with some more information i would be able to provide some code
